Oh, Hello: Marty Leap to Join BSD

WE ARE...better!

While we patiently await for Penn State’s 2019 class to continue to grow, we here at BSD are excited about our latest commitment. Please welcome Marty Leap, whose work you will be seeing in the very near future. Here’s a bit about Marty in his own words.

I’m a lifelong bleeder of blue and white that is now working on instilling a love for all things Penn State in two sons of my own. I grew up in Cambria County and graduated from the same high school as Jack Ham and Tom Bradley. Now, I reside in Altoona and work as an autistic support teacher.

While I can faintly remember the 1999 loss to Minnesota, my first real Penn State Football memory is the Nittany Lions dominating Nebraska at Beaver Stadium in 2002. Larry Johnson should have won the 2002 Heisman Trophy is a hill I’ll die on, by the way. Beaver Stadium is one of my favorite places on the planet and my personal favorite game I’ve ever attended was the 2016 game against Sparty when Penn State clinched the B1G East.

Joining Black Shoe Diaries is something that I am very excited about and I can’t wait to get started! We are!

Please join us in welcoming Marty to the BSD family!
