The full-stadium White Out started in 2007 and is usually reserved for games against the Nittany Lions biggest opponents.
Penn State is 5-5 all-time in full-stadium White Outs including consecutive wins against the aforementioned Buckeyes (‘sup Marcus, Grant) and Michigan last year.
While any and all white is encouraged to be worn during the game, Penn State Athletics also introduced the official 2018 White Out shirt. This year’s shirt is available in the long-sleeve variety, optimal for those cold Beaver Stadium nights.
