It’s been a long time coming. 111 days, to be exact, since the Penn State Nittany Lions kicked off in their final game of the 2017 campaign, a 35-28 win in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl over the 11th ranked Washington Huskies.
It’s been even longer since the Beaver Stadium turf saw action. 154 days, to be exact, since Penn State laid 56 on the Nebraska Cornhuskers en route to its 9th win of the year.
Alright, so spring practice isn’t exactly summer camp, and the Blue/White Game isn’t exactly a White Out. But so what? Football is football, the weather looks decent, and the tailgating should be great. Most importantly, we’ve got you covered on all the news that’s fit to...blog...about?
- Pat’s got each team’s roster laid out for you, as well as an update on visiting prospects who are blessed and honored to join us.
- Jared talks the Micah Parsons Project, and five other players to watch during the game.
- We’ve got position previews a-plenty: defensive tackles, defensive ends, linebackers, corners, safeties, running backs, quarterbacks, receivers, tight ends, offensive line and special teams.
- We’ve got visiting prospects galore.
- You want guest coaches? I’ve got a famous one:
You may see a familiar face on the sidelines of Beaver Stadium this Saturday! Excited to announce our #PSUBlueWhite Guest Coach, @KeeganMKey! ⚪️#WeAre pic.twitter.com/Z3e1zBsuit

Because of course. Since we’re on the subject, help Cari get KMK to her tailgate!
Hey @KeeganMKey how can a group of expert tailgaters get you to show up for their #familyreunion on Saturday outside Beaver Stadium?

Also,

Make this happen please.
But enough about us! Frank Bodani of the York Daily Record tells us who will take over the game and what it means. John McGonigal of the CDT has observations on the last “full go” practice before Saturday’s kick. And Mark Wogenrich of the Allentown Morning Call talks Nick Scott and Brandon Polk.
Basically, this weekend should be fun. Pray for good weather and no injuries. Be safe, and say hi to Keegan Michael Key for me.
