We got links to pass the time as we head into the most uneventful portion of the year.

Making the Cut Following the Monday signing of Tyrell Chavis by the New York Football Giants, eight Nittany Lions, including Jason Cabinda and Grant Haley, found homes after going undrafted during the weekend. Mike Poorman looks at the odds of becoming the next Matt McGloin or Mike Hull to take the undrafted free agent route to the NFL.

Looking Ahead Penn State was well-represented in the 2018 NFL Draft, and could have another high pick in 2019 in wide receiver Juwan Johnson. While you’re thinking about the future, enjoy this breakdown of QB Sean Clifford’s performance in the Blue-White Game.

Alone at the Top No surprise here, but Saquon Barkley had the top-selling jersey of all the first round picks. It probably won’t be too long until Barkley takes the NFL by storm and has the best-selling jersey in the entire league. My guess is by the end of October, even though some felt the Giants should have traded down or used the pick on a quarterback.

WE’RE GOING STREAKING! The Mifflin Streak is coming soon to the Penn State campus, and Onward State examines how the annual tradition began with one lone streaker.

Welcome to Happy Valley Penn State gained some help at the most underappreaciated position in football- the long snapper. Austin Sullivan of Middletown, New York will join the team this summer as a preferred walk-on.

Is it September Yet? The Blue-White Game and the NFL Draft is over, which means a long stretch of emptiness for college football fans. If you’re like me though, you’re already thinking of that glorious time of year when college football finally returns in late August/early September. Some week one highlights include a batch of games on Saturday, Aug. 25 to help break in that ass grove on the sofa, a Thursday night match-up between Northwestern and Purdue, and plenty of intrigue for the first full Saturday as Alabama takes on Louisville, Auburn clashes with Washington, and Notre Dame and Michigan renew its rivalry under the lights in South Bend. Oh yeah, and the good guys in blue and white welcome Appalachian State to Beaver Stadium to kick off the 2018 season.
