Let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane as we continue our countdown.
Carl Nassib was a regular contributor throughout his career at Penn State, before exploding onto the national scene as a senior in 2015. Nassib came out of nowhere to have one of the best single seasons in program history. Despite playing just four snaps in the final two games of the season, Nassib led the nation in sacks with 15.5 and forced fumbles with six. The 15.5 sacks is a single-season record at Penn State. Nassib left Penn State as a consensus All-American, recipient of the Lombardi and Hendricks Awards, and a slew of other honors. He now plays for the Cleveland Browns, hoping to help the team turn things around after winning just a single game during his first two years in the NFL.
Only 95 more days until Penn State kicks off the 2018 season against Appalachian State!
