Saquon and the Giants:
New Jersey gets to know Saquon Barkley and his hometown of Coplay. It’s nice to see people outside of Pennsylvania getting to know the real Saquon.
Trace’s Time:
Trace McSorley tops Athlon Sports’ list of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten in 2018. Given McSorley’s longevity for Penn State (and his numbers, and his 28-game touchdown streak, and his 22-5 record as a starter), this comes as no surprise. Trace also was placed at the number one spot in Sporting News’ slideshow version of their rankings. As a side-note, I’ve never been a big fan of those lists that are in slideshow form. Just give me that text, man.
More good news for No. 9, as CBS Sports believes he is one of the most undervalued players in the 2019 NFL Draft. I forgot he was 12/12 on third downs against Washington...That dude is C-L-U-T-C-H.
Next up on the OL?
Michal Menet may have a chance to start on the Penn State offensive line in 2018 after being labelled as one of the team’s most improved players in the spring.
PSU MBB continues #climbing
ICYMI, Penn State basketball scored a commitment on Wednesday, and extended Pat Chambers on Thursday.
Nittany Lion graduates
97 Nittany Lion athletes will receive their Penn State diploma this weekend, with 57% of them earning Academic All-Big Ten honors. Congratulations to all!
Looking Ahead To 2018 Football
Penn Live takes a look at what opponents might trip up the Nittany Lions on the gridiron this fall. (Spoiler alert: Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Michigan all made the list.) Is their list too long? Maybe, but then again, anytime Penn State travels to Illinois, I get Anthony Morelli flashbacks.
Speaking of football, Penn State’s student tickets will cost a bit more in 2018, marking the first time in nine years that there has been a price increase.
Finally, Penn State has once again changed financial systems, this time to Mufa...no wait, Raffi...it’s actually SIMBA.
Speaking of...
This was the first time I ever cried watching a movie.
