Entering the 2018 season one of the few positions with questions marks surrounding it for the Penn State football team is tight end. However, if Nick Bowers can stay healthy, these questions will go away real fast.
While replacing Mike Gesicki will be anything but easy, Bowers has the best all-around tool set of the available options. While Bowers is not the receiving threat that Gesicki was, he can still be a threat in the passing game. He is also a better blocker than Gesicki was.
The big issue with Bowers has always been health. This is why he has played in just one game in his career. Although, in that one game he caught a touchdown against Nebraska last season. Here’s to hoping for good health and big things from Nick in 2018!
Only 83 more days until Penn State kicks off the 2018 season against Appalachian State!
