Only Zack Kuntz Until Penn State Football

As we talked about yesterday, the tight end position is one of the few that has a question mark entering the 2018 season for the Penn State Nittany Lions. With the depth chart wide open there is an opportunity for true freshman Zack Kuntz to make an impact this fall.

While Kuntz could use a redshirt year to add weight and muscle to 6-foot-7, 232 pound frame he already has all the tools needed to be an absolute weapon in the passing game. Also, the fact he has been enrolled at Penn State since January works in his favor as well.

Ultimately, odds are, Kuntz will redshirt in 2018. But do not count out the true freshman when it comes to the tight end position, especially if injuries continue to be an issue this fall.
