Only Danny Dalton Until Penn State Football

Entering the 2018 season Penn State’s depth chart is wide open at tight end. This spring, one player took advantage of this opportunity and shined. That player was Danny Dalton.

Entering his redshirt sophomore season, Dalton has yet to play a down for the Nittany Lions. However, this spring he regularly drew praise on Twitter from tight ends coach Tyler Bowen for his work. Dalton was the lone scholarship tight end participating in spring practice, which is F’ing terrifying, but to his credit he took advantage.

As the 2018 regular season looms, Dalton appears to have as good a chance as anyone of making an impact at tight end.
