Only Chasz Wright Until Penn State Football

NCAA Football: Iowa at Penn State Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

During the 2016 season the Penn State Nittany Lion offensive line was decimated by injuries. This led to redshirt sophomore Chasz Wright becoming the team’s starting right tackle. Wright would appear in all 14 games in 2016, starting five of them, on his way to helping the Nittany Lions win the Big Ten Championship.

After getting off to a poor start in 2017, Wright was replaced at right tackle by Will Fries. While battling an ankle injury, Wright would appear in 12 games last season with nine starts. As 2018 looms, Wright appears to be on his way to being a key reserve at offensive tackle for the Nittany Lions.
