Niiiiiiiceeeeee.
We are just 69 days from Penn State football and that makes today C.J. Thorpe day!
Thorpe is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Pittsburgh Central Catholic high school who was considered one of the best offensive linemen in his class.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 322 pounds, Thorpe is almost assuredly set to play one of the two guard spots for the Nittany Lions moving forward and has already transformed his body since arriving on campus to shed bad weight and add muscle.
He is already thought of as one of the best run blockers on the team and as his pass blocking comes along, Thorpe could become dominant for Penn State and offensive line coach Matt Limegrover.
Thorpe, the son of former Penn State player Chris Thorpe, should see some time in late-game or rotational situation this season.
