Only Charlie Katshir Until Penn State Football

45 days to go!

Go PSU Sports

Another day, another freak linebacking athlete. Charlie Katshir is a member of the 2018 recruiting class, and recently enrolled at Dear Old State in June. A composite 3-star, Charlie chose Penn State over regional rivals such as Pitt, West Virginia, and Rutgers, among others.

Standing 6’3” and weighing 226 pounds, it appears that the freshman is in line for a redshirt season in 2018. Katshir has got the height to play immediately, but a few more pounds would be helpful when stopping a Big Ten running back with a head of steam.

Still, the linebackers need the most help of any position group, and if the injury bug strikes Charlie could be called on to play. Regardless, once he hits the field, Katshir has the size and instincts to be a terror.
