In five short weeks, Justin Neff and the rest of his Nittany Lion teammates will climb into the iconic blue buses for a trip to Beaver Stadium for the very first time of the 2018 season. Football season is getting close, you guys.
You may not know much about Justin Neff, but the Mill Hall, Pa. native is working to change that. Neff, a walk-on safety, helped with scout team duties during his redshirt year and now enters his first year of eligibility. While he’s listed at safety, Neff was an all-state kicker in high school, so maybe James Franklin will give him a look if things don’t work out with the candidates to replace Tyler Davis.
Neff actually did a little bit of everything prior to coming to Penn State- as a senior he had 1,192 rushing yards, 320 passing yards and averaged 33 yards per kick return, while amassing 17 touchdowns on the season. He also was a National Honors Society member, and plans to major in criminology at Penn State.
JUST 35 MORE DAYS UNTIL PENN STATE TAKES ON APPALACHIAN STATE TO KICK OFF THE 2018 SEASON!!
