Only Jonathan Holland Until Penn State Football

One of the potential starters at tight end is next on our countdown!

NCAA Football: Penn State Blue-White Game Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Redshirt junior Jonathan Holland enters 2018 looking to make an impact for the Penn State offense. The tight end from Brandywine, Maryland redshirted in 2015, and played on special teams in 2016. Holland saw his first action on offense in 2017, making catches against Georgia State, Iowa, and Michigan State, and even returning a kick against Ohio State. This spring saw Holland limited in practice due to an injury, but in July, he was named to the watch list for the Mackey Award, presented to the country’s top tight end. Holland appears to have the inside track to start at tight end, but will be pushed hard by freshmen Pat Freiermuth and Zack Kuntz, as well as fellow redshirt-junior Nick Bowers.

18 days away, folks.
