Only Michael Shuster Until Penn State Football

The Penn State legacy ‏takes our countdown to Penn State football that much closer.

NCAA Football: Penn State Blue White Game Matthew O’Haren-USA TODAY Sports

Redshirt-sophomore Michael Shuster may have only seen the field during one game so far in his career, Georgia State in 2017, but his journey to Happy Valley began long before he stepped on campus. Both of Shuster’s parents attended the university, and his mother’s father, Dick Hoak, not only played for the Nittany Lions, but also played and coached for the Steelers from 1961-2007. Shuster has proven himself in the classroom, earning Dean’s List during his freshman year, and being named Academic All-Big Ten in 2017. Expect Shuster to provide important depth at quarterback this fall.

15 (!!) days to go until Penn State takes on the Mountaineers.
