Ready for Chaos Sean Spencer has pulled off the near-impossible task of replacing Larry Johnson Sr. as Penn State’s defensive line coach by consistently developing standouts along the DL. Mike Poorman goes deep to profile “Coach Chaos” as he prepares for another season to unleash a new set of Wild Dogs. Despite some recent injuries and departures, Spencer seems confident that the up-and-coming unit won’t miss a beat and will continue to get even better.

Trace4Heisman Kirk Herbstreit is high on the Nittany Lions heading into the 2018 season. He is predicting the biggest season in some time in Happy Valley, with Trace McSorley taking home the Heisman and the boys in blue and white to make their first-ever playoff appearance. Speaking of predictions, the folks at CBS Sports forecast the Big Ten with some seeing another conference championship on the way for Penn State.

Lucky 13 The mothership released its annual rankings, from 1 all the way to 130 (sorry, UTEP). They peg Penn State as #13 heading into the season as a Tier II team, which translates to “Potential national championship contender...buuuuut needs to answer some key questions first.”
