Football season is upon us! What’s your tailgate look like?

At long last, football season is here! The first games kicked off this past weekend, and Penn State takes on Appalachian State in just five days!

Many people have already begun planning for the first fall pilgrimage to Happy Valley this weekend, which prompts the question: what is your best tailgate recipe?

What food do you make religiously at every tailgate - and is promptly devoured by all in attendance?

I’ve never actually set up my own tailgate, so I’m going to ride the coattails of the tailgate I attended regularly while at Dear Old State: the best dang hot dogs you’ve ever had. Grilled to perfection, covered in sauerkraut, and smothered in spicy deli mustard. Deviled eggs on the side, with homemade chocolate chip cookies for desert - and of course, as many Yuenglings as you’d want to consume.

What about you, dear reader - what’s your go-to tailgate food? Feel free to share recipes below - give your fellow commenters ideas for some new foods to make!
