After mainly showing interest in Ohio State and Penn State, Jahan Dotson waited around a little too long for both schools, and ended up committing to UCLA instead on September 4. But as fate would have it, Penn State ended up circling back around to the in-state four-star wideout, securing his commitment and National Letter of Intent on the December 20 Early Signing Period.
While Dotson is currently built more like a point guard at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, the true freshman from the Lehigh Valley was — according to James Franklin — the buzz of the early portion of training camp. Although we’ll get a better idea come Saturday, it appears that Dotson could have played his way into playing time this season.
Five days, folks. Five days.
