The upcoming series with Temple will be a home-and-home, with Penn State hitting the road to take on the Owls in 2026 before playing host for the 2027 contest. The 2026 game will be the first match-up between the two programs since the 2016.

Penn State will be playing Villanova and Delaware for the first time in program history. Both programs are currently FCS, winning national championships since 2000 (Delaware in 2003 and Villanova in 2009).
