Penn State has announced a total of seven non-conference games between four opponents. Chronologically, they include:
Villanova
Sept. 25, 2021 and Sept. 13, 2025
Central Michigan
Sept. 24, 2022
Delaware
Sept. 9, 2023 and Sept. 11, 2027
Temple
Sept. 12, 2026 and Sept. 18, 2027
All games with Villanova, Central Michigan and Delaware will be played in Beaver Stadium. The upcoming series with Temple will be a home-and-home, with Penn State hitting the road to take on the Owls in 2026 before playing host for the 2027 contest. The 2026 game will be the first match-up between the two programs since the 2016.
Penn State will be playing Villanova and Delaware for the first time in program history. Both programs are currently FCS, winning national championships since 2000 (Delaware in 2003 and Villanova in 2009).
