Redshirt junior quarterback Jake Zembiec announced Tuesday night that he will not be completing the last two years of football eligibility due to an ongoing injury problem.
Like Nana Asiedu before him, Zembiec will instead continue his studies at Penn State on a medical scholarship. Also like Asiedu, he announced that he plans to continue to work with the football program.
Due to a combination of injury and competition, Zembiec did not get an opportunity to see the field in his time on the team. He came to Penn State as three-star prospect in the 2015 recruiting class.
We wish Jake the best of luck with all of his future endeavors.
