Penn State used another huge second half to blow out their opponent on Saturday, scoring 35 answered points on Saturday in a 63-10 victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes. For the second consecutive week, the Nittany Lions also moved up in the AP poll as they have reentered the top 10 (kind of). The Nittany Lions are not alone at the ten spot as they are now tied with the Washington Huskies.

The Penn State program has now been ranked in 28 consecutive AP Polls, the eighth longest streak in the nation. The Nittany Lions also moved up one spot in this week’s AP Poll as they moved from 10th to 9th.

The Big Ten had a tough week on the field but still managed to get five teams in this week’s AP Poll. Ohio State joins Penn State in the top 10, sitting at a comfortable fourth spot while the Michigan Wolverines saw their stock rise from 21 to 19 . Wisconsin who entered the weekend at the six spot is now out of the top 15 completely and sits at 18. The Michigan State Spartans didn’t play this weekend but managed to move up a spot as they are now sit at the 24 sot.
