After covering each of their last two games in blowout fashion, Penn State has opened against Illinois a near-four touchdown favorite. The Lions according to Oddshark are a 27-point favorite over the Fighting Illini in the Big Ten conference opener set for Friday night.

The Lions this past weekend were 35-point favorites over Kent State and while it was a close second half, the Nittany Lions used a 35-point second half en route to a 63-10 victory.

The Lions are 18-5 against the Illini all-time with their last victory and game against them coming in 2015, a 39-0 victory at Beaver Stadium on Halloween.

Also worth noting is that according to Oddshark, the Nittany Lions are 3-7 against the spread over their last 10 games against the Illini.
