Highly touted true freshman Rasheed Walker had a run in with the law, according to police reports.
The report states that Walker was charged with misdemeanor accounts of “theft by unlawful taking - movable property” and “receiving stolen property.” He will have a preliminary hearing for the charges on October 31.
According to the Centre Daily Times, who first broke the story, Walker admitted to police that he stole the bike, valued at approximately $150, because he did not feel like walking back from the Lasch Football Building to his dorm room.
Neither the Penn State athletic department nor the football program have commented on the situation. The former four-star recruit will likely have to walk a tight line going forward.
