There are no holidays for the depth chart. As it turns out, instead of Akron this season, every opponent is now Appalachian State. Why do I say that? Because the depth chart is nearly identical to last week’s edition. Most notably difference are the omissions of John Petrishen, Jayson Oweh, and Damion Barber, albeit of the bottom line of their positions. Also, it is now Jonathan Holland or Danny Dalton as starting tight end and Mark Allen or Ricky Slade behind Miles Sanders at running back. There were two other small changes. First, Nick Bowers and Pat Freiermuth swapped tight end spots. Second. Austin Tobin and Vlad Hilling have juggled the back-up kicking duties on field goals. Now, let’s hope the Nittany Lions look significantly different on the field with better execution.
