New, 24 comments

The Terps scored 47 more points than last week because, Rutgers.

We’re now five games into the season, which means that former foes list is starting to get a larger and we’re getting a better idea of how things are trending for said former foes. For some, things are trending positively. Others, ehh...not so much. Let’s take a look!

Former Foes

Idaho Vandals

Last Seen: Losing their Big Sky conference opener against Weber State in a 41-35 shootout at home.

Up Next: The Vandals will get another crack at a PSU program this Saturday when they go on the road to face Portland State University. I know, I know: BUT PORTLAND ISN’T A STATE, PAWWWLLLLLLL.

2019 Record: 2-4

Buffalo Bulls

Last Seen: Losing a heartbreaker at home in overtime to Ohio U, 21-20. W

Up Next: Da Bulls get themselves a much-needed bye week. [Raises glass in hand] Daaaaa bye week!

2019 Record: 2-4

Pittsburgh Panthers

Last Seen: Kicking the everloving crap out of Duke en route to a 26-3 lead, then in true Pitt fashion, completely choking away said lead with 1:30 remaining in the game before miraculously re-claiming the lead less than a minute later on a Kenny Pickett-to-V’Lique Carter connection with 38 seconds remaining to win, 33-30. Are you not entertained?

Up Next: Bye week

2019 Record: 4-2

Maryland Terrapins

Last Seen: Taking out all of their frustrations from the tragic events of the Friday night blackout against Penn State in a 47-7 victory over a hapless Rutgers team that already appears to be mailing it in for the season. With Michigan having (briefly) pulled themselves out of an offensive rut when taking on the Scarlet Knights following their performance at Wisconsin and now this, it’s pretty clear that Rutgers is just what the doctor ordered.

Up Next: The Terps travel to West Lafayette this Saturday to face a crippled Purdue squad.

2019 Record: 3-2

Purdue Boilermakers

Last Seen: Laying in a hospital bed somewhere in a full body cast after giving up 10 sacks to Penn State last Saturday en route to a 35-7 beatdown loss.

Up Next: The Fightin’ Jeff Brohms are back home this Saturday to take on a Maryland team playing with some renewed confidence coming off their own beatdown over Rutgers.

2019 Record: 1-4

Former Bros

Mississippi State Bulldogs

Last Seen: Floating in the middle of a pool, sipping a pina colada, enjoying the week off from the meat grinder that is the SEC.

Up Next: The Fightin’ Moorheads have a road date this Saturday at Tennessee.

2019 Record: 3-2
