Another late edition of Black Shoe Degenerates because life got in the way. But with bad news come good news! Without further ado, let’s discuss my futility this season. After this past weekend, I am five games under .500 for the first time since I’ve started doing this four years ago. Times are rough, man! Michigan State started well, but fell apart down the stretch and lost by 24 to the Buckeyes. Iowa, well, let’s not harp on that one. At least Wisconsin did that it’s built to do against overmatched teams.

Oklahoma/Texas Over 76 - Neither of these teams has been exactly world beaters defensively, but their offenses are as potent as they come. I fully expect this game to get into the 40s. $110
Penn State -3 (-120) @ Iowa - I’m not buying all the generic trope that accompany this game. Iowa is not a sneaky team this season. In fact, they’re ranked. Penn State has already gone on the road at night and was unfazed. I don’t think it’s going to be easy because winning on the road is easy, but there’s no magic behind forcing Nate Stanley to put the entire Iowa team on his back. $200
Maryland -3.5 @ Purdue - The Terps might have a little bit of Wisconsin in them. They’re very good at beating overmatched opponents, and Purdue is so decimated right now that Maryland might just be able to take advantage of it. $50
Minnesota -7 vs Nebraska - I’m rowing the boat! I think the Gophers will be no worse than 7-1 when they face our Nittany Lions, and after last week’s explosion against Illinois, and Adrian Martinez probably being unable to play this game, I can’t see how this turns out well for the Huskers. $100
Last Week: 1-2
