Following an important victory in Iowa City, Penn State returns home along with Gameday for a primetime showdown with Michigan. The offense shall remain the same across the board on the depth chart, as will special teams. There has been a rising sentiment to start Noah Cain, but it’s really not all that necessary if he ends up with more carries than any of the other backs and is considered the guy in crunch time. On defense, it remains nearly the same with the only difference being Joey Porter Jr. has flipped sides at cornerback and Marquis Wilson makes an appearance taking the last slot on the vacated side replacing Donovan Johnson.
