Penn State’s 28-7 victory at Michigan State moved them firmly into the top five of both polls.

Joining the No. 5 Nittany Lions in the AP rankings are No. 3 Ohio State, No. 13 Minnesota, No. 14 Michigan, No. 18 Wisconsin, who dropped for the second straight week after their loss to the Buckeyes, and No. 19 Iowa.

Penn State climbed up in the Coaches Poll for the second straight week, and now sits at No. 5. Ohio State (No. 4), Minnesota (No. 13), Michigan (No. 15), Wisconsin (No. 17), and Iowa (No. 19) are the other conference teams in the coaches’ poll.

Penn State has a rare second bye week this coming weekend, before taking on the unbeaten Golden Gophers on November 9th.
