Penn State - Michigan To Be Played Under The Lights

Our long-feared Nittany National nightmare is over.

It was announced Monday morning that Penn State’s Oct. 19 White Out game against Michigan will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET and broadcast on ABC.

Months of speculation led many fans and beat writers alike to believe the game was destined for a noon kick on FOX, but a recent tweet by ABC broadcaster Chris Fowler stating that he’d be at the game swung that thinking.

Now it’s official.

The kick time for the White Out is a huge deal for Penn State fans. While James Franklin tried to brush it off, it’s clearly a massive difference in environment under the lights and it also provides adequate tailgating time. So this announcement comes as a huge boost to fans.
