Penn State has opened as a 14-point favorite against its week 12 matchup with the Big Ten East foe Indiana. The Hoosiers are one of the Big Ten’s most pleasant surprises this season with a 7-2 record.They are currently in the midst of a four-game winning streak, gaining wins over Rutgers, Maryland, Nebraska and Northwestern. The Hoosiers two loses have both come in Big Ten play to #1 Ohio State, as well as a 40-31 loss to Michigan State.
The Hoosiers were off this weekend, while Penn State suffered its first loss to Minnesota in heartbreaking fashion. The Nittany Lions now return home for the penultimate game of the season in Beaver Stadium of the 2019 season.
Penn State has won the past five games against Indiana, dating back to 2014. The Hoosiers defeated the Nittany Lions in 2013, for its only win against Penn State in school history. Penn State leads the all-time series with the Hoosiers 16-1.
