There it is folks, my first perfect week of the season! Illinois made it interesting for me in the first half, but they stepped their foot on the gas in the second hand it was all over from there. The other three weren’t even a sweat, as Northwestern couldn’t muster even 50% passing, Memphis and SMU combined for 102 points, and UCLA never trailed Colorado. It feels good, man!

Picks
In honor of the first College Football Playoff rankings this week, I’m picking games with the top four in them!
Penn State -7 (-105) @ Minnesota - Earlier this week, this line sat at 6.5, and it was the perfect line. Win by a touchdown, win. Now, a touchdown win merely ties. I personally believe Penn State will win by a touchdown exactly, but I can easily see how they could win by more. I unfortunately don’t see a path for Minnesota here, but I do see them scoring points. $300
Ohio State -42 vs Maryland - This line is massive, but when Minnesota beats the Terps by 42, I can’t help but feel like Ohio State can do the same. That’s about it. $200
LSU +7 (-120) @ Alabama - I wouldn’t touch this game with a 10-foot pole in each of the past 5 years. This year is different. LSU has an offense now, which has been the one thing keeping them from competing with Alabama in recent memory. I don’t think this game is going to be a shootout, as everyone expects, but I do think that the Tigers will actually be able to respond when the Tide attacks. $100
