Surely this will be met with reasoned responses.

Football Scoop is reporting that Ricky Rahne has been hired as the new head coach at Old Dominion University.
Rahne, who has spent the last two years as the offensive coordinator for the Nittany Lions, has been the subject of much ire.
Penn State’s offensive has been boom or bust since Joe Moorhead’s hiring, but even more so under Rahne. Wide receivers struggled with drops in his first year, although play calling was certainly questionable.
This season, the offense certainly made strides, but not the type of strides that some were hoping, and fizzled a bit down the stretch, with Sean Clifford struggling a bit, while Will Levis showed that he’s not quite ready during his lone start against Rutgers.
We now turn our attention to what will be a hugely important hire for the Penn State program and James Franklin as the Nittany Lions return a team that should be a playoff contender in 2020.
