PITTSBURGH DL VISITING PENN STATE

Pittsburgh Central Catholic’s AJ Beatty will be making his way to Penn State this Saturday.

Beatty is a low three-star recruit on 247Sports, but his offer list isn’t all too shabby with Boston College, Indiana, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and West Virginia all extending offers to the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Beatty. We’ll see if Penn State joins the fray this Saturday.

TOP 150 WIDEOUT VISITING HAPPY VALLEY

Joining Beatty on campus this weekend will be North Carolina four-star wide receiver Mike Wyman, according to Roar Lions Roar. This will be Wyman’s second visit to Penn State, with his last visit coming way back on November 11, 2017 when the Nittany Lions defeated Rutgers 35-6.

DMV OFFENSIVE LINEMEN TAKE IN PENN STATE

Penn State hosted a pair of the DMV’s top offensive linemen earlier this week as four-star Anton Harrison and three-star Golden Achumba both made the trek to State College.

This was Harrison’s fourth visit to Penn State in the last year, but the first one he has made in 2019. He’s a big kid at 6-foot-5, 329 pounds, and should be able to play tackle or guard depending upon where the rest of the roster is at, and how his body progresses over the next few years.

Achumba is a little more set as an interior lineman, but he’s certainly a good looking prospect in his own right. For being just a three-star prospect, he holds offers from some of the best programs (Oklahoma, LSU, and Florida) in the country — and he also holds offers from schools like Maryland and Michigan, too.

LIONS MAKE COLORADO TIGHT END’S TOP 10

Kole Taylor, the No. 11 tight end in the country, included Penn State in his top 10 yesterday.

Penn State doesn’t often venture out to Colorado, but with Ricky Rahne’s contacts in the area (Rahne is originally from Colorado), you’ll see the Nittany Lions go after someone out there from time to time. It remains to be seen where Penn State truly sits with Taylor — he’s yet to visit Happy Valley — but hey, never a bad thing to make someone’s top list.
