Nick Scott Drafted By The Los Angeles Rams

The former defensive captain will have a chance to play at the next level.

Former two-time Penn State captain Nick Scott was drafted in the seventh round, with pick 243 overall, by the Rams. Scott was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine but he put up good numbers at the Penn State pro day, running a solid 4.43 40-yard dash.

A great student and leader off the field, Scott likely impressed the Rams with his maturity and knowledge of the game of football as well. A one-year starter at safety, Scott made 65 tackles while making the proper reads and play-calls from the back end of the defense.

Scott was the sixth player selected in the draft for the Lions.
