Success with Hyperlinking is Ready to Wake People Up

We’ve got some freshly-baked links cooling on the window sill for you.

NCAA Football: Wisconsin at Penn State Matthew O’Haren-USA TODAY Sports

Room for Improvement Perhaps the most ubiquitous memory for Penn State fans of the 2018 season was dropped passes...and more dropped passes...and then even more dropped passes. It was an issue that plagued the offense from beginning to end, unfortunately. With some new faces in tow and more experience all around, the current Penn State receivers group can’t wait to show the world what they can do in the fall. On the other side of the ball, Micah Parsons is ready to make a much bigger name for himself in 2019.

New Faces, New Places Penn State’s receivers group will be bolstered by two transfers in 2019 with former five-star prospect George Campbell making his way from Florida State, and Division II All-American Weston Carr coming to Happy Valley via Azusa Pacific. 247 looked back at the 10 best transfer players in college football history, in a list that includes Hall of Famers, Super Bowl MVPs, first overall draft picks and a one-time Nittany Lions quarterback that just wasn’t meant to be.

Oh Uh, Oh Wow! Jayson Oweh has been one of the most buzzworthy Nittany Lions throughout the offseason, which is what happens when a 6-5, 255 lb. defensive lineman runs a 4.33 40. Oweh redshirted in 2018, but did manage two sacks and a quarterback hurry in a brief appearance against Kent State. Now all eyes will be on Oweh as he enters his first year of eligibility as he looks to make life a nightmare for Big Ten quarterbacks.

Thoughts of a Blog Greg Pickel offers 10 thoughts on the Nittany Lions as they prepare for the 2019 season. Thoughts #4 and 7 have me especially excited for what may be on the horizon this fall.

So You’re Telling Me There’s a Chance? Perhaps it’s just me, but it seems like the hype surrounding the NBA Finals this year is hard to find. This is the result of having a team as the obvious frontrunner from start to finish as Golden State looks to add yet another championship banner. However, our overloads at SBN are going all out to make their case for Toronto walking away victorious, somehow finding a way to top the mighty Warriors. I’ll believe it when I see it.

A NEW CAR!! Miles Sanders didn’t waste much time to give a big thank you to his biggest supporter, buying a brand new car for his mother. It was likely the nicest Mother’s Day gift he has given her so far, although I’m sure she still cherishes the homemade card and craft he made for her in preschool. Sanders’ former teammate and new division rival Saquon Barkley is looking for people to join his Quad Squad. Sounds fun, but not sure I would survive a leg day with #26.
