The brackets have been revealed and to absolutely nobody’s surprise, Penn State has earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They will await the winner of the play-in game between Marist and UMBC.
Needless to say, the team got quite the VIP treatment while awaiting the bracket reveals, sitting in the auditorium normally used by the football team. If you’ll notice, each of the graduating seniors on the team were rocking their caps and gowns, as they were too busy bringing home the school’s first ever Big Ten championship to attend graduation ceremonies.

The winner of this Wednesday’s play-in game between the Red Foxes and Retrievers will travel to Happy Valley for a date with the Nittany Lions next Sunday (May 12th) at Panzer Stadium. That game is slated for a Noon ET start on ESPNU. Should the Nittany Lions finally get over the hump and win their first NCAA Tournament game in program history, they will face the winner between No. 8 seed Loyola (MD) and Syracuse in the quarterfinals the following Sunday (May 19th) in East Hartford, CT. The winner of that game will then advance to the Final Four in Philadelphia on Memorial Day weekend, but one game at a time, folks...
