HIGHLIGHTS

THE TALE

Enzo Jennings first visited Penn State as a sophomore in February 2018. While he didn’t have an offer at the time, it wasn’t long after that the Nittany Lions decided to pull the trigger, offering the Michigan athlete in May 2018. Jennings then made it back to campus three times since then — last July, in February for Junior Day, and most recently this past weekend for his official visit. As it turns out, the official visit must have went pretty well as Jennings made the call for the Nittany Lions just a few days after.

OUTLOOK

Jennings is listed as an athlete, but cornerback or safety will most likely be his home. He plays cornerback in high school, and while he’d be a solid athlete for the position — 4.64 forty, 4.06 shuttle, and a 37.5 vertical — he’d be a really good athlete as a safety. He’s got a good frame at 6-foot-1, 188 pounds already, so I think long term, safety might be his best spot.

Regardless of where he ends up position wise, adding an athlete and player of Jennings caliber to the secondary is only a good thing for Penn State. Plus, for a program that has been dealt its fair share of decommitment blows the last few weeks, it has to feel good for the guys in Lasch to land a Top 100 prospect.
