You may not be familiar with Colton Maxwell, but he is working to change that. The Northampton, Pa. native will look to use his speed to get on the field on special teams and wide receiver. Maxwell joined Penn State in time for the Big Ten Championship season in 2016 as a walk-on, and is now preparing for his redshirt junior season. He was one of just three players to make the cut as a walk-on in 2016.
Maxwell starred on the football and track and field teams at Northampton High School, where he was the district runner-up in the 400 meters, and set school records as part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. He is studying economics at Penn State, and has been active with the team’s Lift for Life fundraisers.
We’re just 89 days from Penn State taking on the Idaho Vandals to kick off the 2019 season!
