VISITORS THIS WEEKEND
Official visits in June have become a big part of the recruiting cycle so it should be no surprise that Penn State is hosting a couple 2020 targets this weekend in four-star VA WR KeAndre Lambert and three-star Ohio DL Ty Hamilton.

Lambert isn’t the most boisterous of recruits so it’s tough to tell who leads, but Penn State is quietly in a good spot for Lambert, with Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Clemson all hanging around.
As for Hamilton, as his scheduled visits shows you, his recruitment will come down to Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. With his brother, Davon, being a redshirt senior with the Buckeyes, one would think that Ohio State would be tough to beat, but Penn State will certainly give it a go this weekend.
On top of official visits, there will also be plenty of unofficial visitors to campus the next few weeks. This weekend’s unofficial visitors will include four-star 2021 OL Landon Tengwall.
PSU tomorrow! ⚪️ #WeAre21

Tengwall is arguably Penn State’s top offensive line target in 2021. While Tengwall’s recruitment still has over a calendar year to go, he appears to be focused on the Nittany Lions, Michigan, and Notre Dame. He has already visited Penn State more than any other school, so the more times he gets to campus the merrier.
NEW OFFERS
Last cycle, the Nittany Lions signed defensive tackle Joseph Appiah Darkwa out of Germany. The coaching staff is now on the search for the next up-and-coming talent from Europe, as a pair of European defensive backs picked up offers this week.

Jairo Faverus is a UK native, while Richard Agyekum hails from the Netherlands. The European crew is currently on a United States tour, so a trip to Happy Valley wouldn’t be too surprising in the coming weeks.
On Thursday, James Franklin and Ricky Rahne extended their second 2022 quarterback offer of the week, with this one going to Georgua’s MJ Morris.
After a great conversation with @RickyRahne, I am humbled and blessed to receive an offer from @PennStateFball #humbleandhungry #outthemud @Mansell247 @ChadSimmons_ @MattDeBary @CFravel247 @jeffsentell @RecruitGeorgia pic.twitter.com/67Zt9WCd2f
— MJ Morris (@mj_morris7) June 6, 2019
Penn State joins Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Texas A&M as Power Five programs that have already offered Morris so likely just tossing their name in the ring and hoping it hits.
2021 Maryland athlete Zakee Wheatley also picked up an offer on Thursday.

Wheatley offers the versatility to play both defensive back and wide receiver, which is always a positive. We’ll see if Penn State can get him to campus for a visit this summer.
PENN STATE MAKES THE TOP 10 OF AN ELITE TIGHT END
On Monday, tight end Arik Gilbert released his top 10, with Penn State making the cut.
All praise to Lord, the most high. Rip John Rip Granddad one 4eva pic.twitter.com/sfTu2sisrR
— Arik Gilbert (@arik_gilbert) June 4, 2019
The Marietta, Georgia, native is a five-star prospect and the top tight end in the country in 2020. While landing Gilbert would be a total and complete pipe dream, he has visited campus and could return for an official visit. Just getting an out of region prospect as highly rated as Gilbert on campus and cracking his to group to boot is good for the Penn State brand.
