It’s official.
2019 NCAA champion Anthony Cassar will return to the Penn State wrestling team for the 2019-20.
Cassar announced his plans on “run it back” on his Instagram on Friday afternoon. It was reported earlier that the NCAA had granted Cassar two years of additional eligibility after he’d lost prior seasons to a pair of shoulder injuries.
Cassar has not said whether he plans to take both years but has stated that he wants to attempt to make the 2020 Olympic team.
