A high-profile recruit, Lamont Wade committed to Penn State back in December 2016, enrolling early shortly thereafter. Wade, in a very savage move, forever etched himself into Penn State lore by scribbling out Dylan Rivers from the picture of commits as Rivers flipped to Virginia Tech.

I will never not laugh at that photo. The very obvious scribble out is too funny.
The 5-foot-9, 199-pound Wade spent his first year at cornerback before making the move to safety last season. He now finds himself in a good position to win the starting strong safety job left vacant by the departed Nick Scott.
