Shane Simmons is poised to have a truly breakout year at defensive end this year. As part of the rotation with Yetur Gross-Matos, Jayson Oweh, and Shaka Toney, Simmons and his fellow Wild Dogs will look to get after the quarterback as one of the nation’s top defenses.
Unlike defensive tackle which is searching for 2-3 players to step up alongside Robert Windsor, the defensive ends should be a known force from day one, due in part to Simmons. Shane and Co. will look to install the 2019 defensive lines as one of the best in recent memory.
34 days until football y’all!
