Kevin Givens joined Penn State as part of the 2015 recruiting class, a late addition to the team out of Altoona.

A combination linebacker/defensive end in high school, Kevin took a redshirt year to add some muscle to his frame, growing into an end/tackle hybrid.

Over the next few years, Givens became a terror on the defensive line. Known for his athleticism and nonstop motor, Kevin routinely gave offensive line fits.

Over his career, Givens garnered several accolades, including All-Freshman teams, the Jim O’Hora award, and multiple defensive player of the week awards. For his career he logged 83 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, four passes defended, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.

Kevin opted to forgo his final season of eligibility at Penn State, and declared for the 2019 NFL Draft. While he went undrafted, Givens eventually signed a rookie contract with the San Francisco 49ers, and will look to make an impact in the pros this fall.

Only 30 days to go!
