It’s starting to get really close, y’all.
After a year of mostly sitting and learning, Trent Gordon is preparing to see playing time at cornerback as a redshirt freshman. Gordon was a huge ‘get’ for the Nittany Lions as a four-star defensive back from the fertile recruiting grounds of Texas. While Gordon had his fair share of options, from playoff contenders to Ivy League schools, he ultimately decided to head North and become a Nittany Lions.
Gordon did play four games in 2018 will still holding on to his redshirt, and saw meaningful snaps in the Citrus Bowl against Kentucky.
We’re just 19 more days until Penn State takes the field!
