John Reid will be CB1 this year in what should be a ferocious Penn State defense. After suffering an injury that would keep him sidelined for all of the 2017 season, John returned in 2018.
Reid looked a tad slow and tentative through the first few weeks, but by midseason he was back to his usual self - that being an incredibly intelligent, agile, shutdown cornerback that quarterbacks think twice, if not thrice about before throwing the ball at.
John will be tasked with covering the #1 receiver for any given team throughout the course of the season, and make no mistake, he will do it very well. In fact, he’ll do it so well that teams will opt instead to throw it to their #2 option, going up against... Tariq Castro-Fields.
Good luck everyone else!
