Midweek Musings - We Made It Through Another Off Season

Well friends, we made it.

The long slog between the Blue-White Game and kickoff against Idaho is all but over. In just two days’ time, the pigskin will have departed the tee and will be sailing through the warm central Pennsylvania air, and football will have finally started again.

I want to take just a quick minute to thank the Black Shoe Diaries community.

You guys and gals show up all off season, when there’s nary a single real football story to discuss, and discuss football nonetheless. Recruiting, workout videos, the transfer portal, depth charts, record predictions. All of the mostly trivial stuff, everyone here uses to sustain their love for Penn State football, and this website.

So a tip of the cap to all of you.
