Freiermuth was on the Mackey Award watch list released in the preseason after earning freshman All-American honors a year ago.
But big time tight end was questionable entering week two after suffering a hit to the head against Idaho, but he appeared healthy and as effective as ever against the Bulls.
Freiermuth has seen limited action in the first two weeks of the season, but still sits eighth in the country for receiving yards among tight ends.
