Penn State Football Commits In Action: Week 5

Due to bye weeks, it was a lighter week of action for future Nittany Lions

For a second consecutive week running back Caziah Holmes had a huge game in a victory for the Cocoa Tigers down in the state of Florida. Holmes ran for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Tigers. This included averaging a lofty 12.5 yards per carry.

Fellow Floridian running back Keyvone Lee and American Collegiate Academy was blown out by Clearwater Academy 60-12. Lee missed the start of the game due disciplinary issues, and threw a 31-yard touchdown pass while playing quarterback for the Pioneers after entering the game.

Defensive tackle Cole Brevard and the Carmel (IN) Greyhounds improved to 3-1 on the season with a 23-20 victory over Lawrence North. Brevard recording a season high 5 tackles in the Greyhound victory.

In New Jersey, defensive lineman Amin Vanover had 2 tackles for St. Joseph Regional in a 55-14 blowout victory over DePaul Catholic. Vanvoer also recorded 3 quarterback hurries for the Green Knight defense.

Offensive lineman Devin Willock and New Jersey powerhouse Paramus Catholic defeated Hackensack 56-28 to improve to 3-0 on the season. You can watch Willock’s highlights from the game below.

Washington D.C. offensive tackle Olu Fashanu also has new highlights following Gonzaga’s latest game.

Golden Israel-Achumba continued to do his thing in a 42-0 victory for DeMatha Catholic. What is his thing you may ask? Mauling poor, innocent defensive players.

In Connecticut, wide receiver Jaden Dottin and the Suffield Academy Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season with a 28-14 victory. Dottin caught 4 passes for 38 yards. He also had 3 tackles.

Future Nittany Lion linebacker Tyler Elsdon and North Schuylkill defeated Mount Carmel 29-17. Elsdon rushed for 105 yards on 13 carries in the victory.

Linebacker/defensive end Zuriah Fisher helped lead the Aliquippa Quips to their second shutout of the season. Led by Fisher, the Quips defense has allowed just 51 rushing yards and 37 points in five games this season.

The Episcopal School of Jacksonville and 2021 tight end Nick Elksnis were blown out 35-7. The lone reception Elksnis had lost 2 yards, however, he racked up 10 tackles for the Eagle defense.

On the JUCO circuit wide receiver Norval Black and safety Ji’Ayir Brown helped lead the Lackawanna Falcons to a 4-25 victory and a 3-0 record. Black had just a pair of receptions in the with, but they went for a combined 90 yards and were both for touchdowns. Brown had 3 tackles and recorded 2 pass breakups for the Falcon defense.
