Recover from a tough night out with some open threading!

Penn State already played its New Year’s Six bowl game a few days ago but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything good on TV today.

It’s New Year’s Day, so naturally two of the four games being played today are part of the coveted New Year’s Six grouping. It’s just like the old days, when the best teams squared off on the first day of the year to settle all bets. Except of course the six bowl games that remain to be played after today, those bets will be settled later.

The games will be on all day long so stay until midnight and share your thoughts, or do as I will. I’ll probably go outside and yell at some clouds because the best games aren’t played on January 1 anymore. Then I’ll run inside and watch some football. Then I’ll dash to the front porch, maybe yell at some kids to get off my lawn, come inside and take a nap.

Do it all again for the night games. Rinse, wash repeat.
