At long last - welcome to the first Penn State Football game week of 2020.
Take a moment for a deep breath as you soak in those words. We know you’ve earned it.
Wide receiver Cam Sullivan-Brown will don a new jersey in 2020, trading in his old #81 for the sleeker #6. The jersey was worn by another Cam, linebacker Cam Brown, who is now a rookie with the New York Giants.
As for the current #6, Sullivan-Brown was off to a hot start in Penn State’s 59-0 trouncing of Maryland when we last saw him on the field. Unfortunately, an injury cut his season short as he was in the midst of his best performance yet, snagging five catches as the Nittany Lion offense caught fire early and never let up.
In limited action, Sullivan-Brown has shown a penchant for finding the soft spots in the defense and with very reliable hands. Now that he is healthy, the redshirt junior could become a vital part of the offense with a skillset that will help keep the chains moving, keeping drives alive and more points on the board.
We’re just six days until Penn State kicks off the 2020 season. It’s almost here...
